Active X with LabVIEW should provide a few options. Just to clarify, sounds like you want to use System Exec.vi to open a password protected file programatically without the user being prompted for a password? Also, will the user be able to manually navigate to these files to open the PDFs outside of LabVIEW? The System Exec.vi doesn't open the files in LabVIEW instead it simply issues a command line that can open the PDF.įrom searching online, I couldn't find anything on how you can open an Adobe password protected PDF through a command line without some extra plug ins.
